Does a transparent PNG stay transparent?
The MP4 and GIF are flattened onto a studio ground. Transparency is not preserved in the export.

Turn an image into a GIF
People who want to turn an image into a GIF are often one step from posting it. Motionframe keeps that step short: image, preset, download. The result is a moving product, not a blinking slideshow.
Make the animation
JPG, PNG, or WebP up to 10 MB. You get an MP4 and a GIF.
Free exports carry a Motionframe watermark. Paid credits remove it.
- Optional motion note if the preset is almost right.
- 1:1 is the safe default for marketplaces.
- 9:16 is there when the GIF is really a vertical preview of a TikTok clip.
Questions
What resolution is standard?
Standard exports are sized for a listing preview. The GIF is reduced so it stays practical to upload, and the MP4 is the sharper file.
Can I edit the GIF after?
You can. Most sellers upload it as-is. The MP4 is easier to trim in another tool if you need to.
