Privacy

Motionframe turns a product photo into a short animation. This page says what we store when you use the tool, sign in, or pay.

What we collect

If you use the tool without an account, we set two cookies: one for the anonymous device that tracks the free renders, and one visitor id used for aggregate counts. We store the photo you upload, the MP4, the GIF, the preset, and a short motion note. We store the IP address on the job for rate limits.

If you sign in, we store your name, email, and session. If you choose Google, we receive the profile Google shares for that sign-in. Sign-in links are sent to your email.

Payments are handled by our checkout provider. We store a customer reference, your plan, your credit balance, and a ledger of grants and spends. We do not store card numbers.

Why we use it

We use this information to make the animation, limit free use, show your history, add credits after a payment, and understand how the site is used. Usage counts stay in our database. We may also send those counts to an analytics service.

How long files stay

Watermarked free files are deleted about 30 days after they are created. Paid exports are kept so you can download them from your account. You can ask us to delete your account data at hello@photogifmaker.com.

Processors

To run the service we use a host for the site, a video service that turns your photo into a clip, a payment processor, an email sender for sign-in links, and file storage for uploads and results. If you sign in with Google, Google handles that sign-in. We may check uploads so the tool is not used for abusive images.
